What happened...

My life story has been on-line from 1998 to 2004, growing from a few pages to over a hundred. But with almost no graphics, it took very little space. When I signed up, the free provider (topcities) boasted that I had 150 megs to use as I wished, and far more bandwidth that I could spend every month.

But in November 2004, the site was closed by the provider, without notice. It seems the 3 megs I used were too much, and that the site -- closed by them without notice -- was not accessible, even for me, to make a link elsewhere. I am not that gullible. I know they closed the site to force me to pay for a service that was supposed to be free. I won't submit to this blackmail practice.

Sadly, it wasn't the first shut down, but it will be my last.

I am sorry to announce that this portion of my site is definitively shut down, with no chance of return.
